What is the purpose of this site?

This a genuine site for men and women to meet each other.  Everything is automated.  Each member enters information about himself or herself and then searches for the type of person that he or she is interested in.  We do not censor or verify information that a member writes on their profile, except if they put their contact details on there.  This results in deletion of the profile.

All we ask is that you should try to be as honest as possible.  Honesty leads to better relationships!

What do I get for free?

FREE for men and women:  Every member can search for free, and add another member to his/her Favourites List, and send an “Interested?” email from the website.  The other member can then respond – free.  An automatic email is sent each time, so that everyone knows.

FREE for women: Women can also email a guy, but he can’t read the email unless he is a paid member.  Women can also send a chat request – FREE.

GUYS – You receive free notifications that a bride has added you to her Favorites List, and you also get an email if she has sent you an “Interested?” notification or a private email or chat request.

Is my information private?

Dating is a private matter and we respect this.  To contact another member in any way, you must be a member of this website.

We do NOT sell your information to any other website or organisation.

Your email address and full name

This is not visible on the website.  Please do NOT put this information into the written ‘free text’ part of your profile which you write yourself.  If you do this, your profile will be deleted.  Please note that if you do this, someone could search Google and find your profile. 

Guys – If you decide to take a paid membership, your credit card statement will show “RBD Services”, to protect your privacy.

How do I use this site?

Simple.  Register, check your email (and check your spam folder in case the email goes into that), then activate your free membership and start searching.

I have registered but I can’t log in

Have you activated your membership?  The moment you register, an automatic email is sent to your email address.  Maybe this email has gone into your spam folder by mistake?  You must click on the link in the activation email (or copy and paste this into your browser) before you can become a member.

I could log in before but now I can’t

99.9% of the time this is because we deleted your profile. 

We do this if you added contact information of any kind (personal websites, other websites of which you are a member, social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc), your email address, your phone number, instant messaging sites such as MSN, Yahoo, ICQ or others, or because you posted inappropriate or sexual content.  (We are a dating site, NOT a sex site.)

What happens if I click on “Interested?” or “Add to Favorites”?

If you do this, the other member gets an email notification.  They can then log in to the site and see that you are interested in them.

What is the difference between my ‘Hotlist’ and my ‘Favorites’

Your ‘Hotlist’ contains all the members whose profiles you have visited.  These members do NOT get an email about this.

Your ‘Favorites’ contains all the members whom you have added to favorites.  These members get an automatic email telling them that you are interested.

I am not getting many responses from other Members

Some of our Members are very popular. (Particularly the ones with great photos!) Sometimes a Member will add other Members to Favorites, or add them to 'Interested?', and then change their mind. They might start a conversation with one Member, and then decide not to start a new conversation with someone else, even though they had added them to Favorites the day before. This happens. Our best advice is to be patient and see what develops.

It is sad that many people can simply stop talking to someone, without giving any reason. We believe that this is mainly because they don't know how to say "I've changed my mind, sorry" in a nice way. People do not normally want to hurt someone else's feelings.

How can I email or chat to members directly?

Women members can send emails or chat requests free.

Male members need to upgrade their membership to use the email and chat systems on the site.  Paid memberships cost as little as $0.61 per day.  Click here for all the options.

Are there any other fees or charges?

No.  There are no other fees or charges if you find your perfect partner on our website.  All we ask is that you send us a quick email – it’s great for the team to know about this, because they work hard to provide a good service.  They like to hear about success stories.

I am worried that another member might not be genuine

If you have ANY doubts about another member, PLEASE email us.  We want to keep our website as clean as possible. If any member starts talking about money – for any reason – please email us.
